Hello Everyone:

Here in Illinois, the corn’s in the ground and starting to grow. The Cubs,
Sox and Cardinals are well underway and playing very well. The legislature
is rushing to finish their work at the last minute.

What can this all mean? One thing, it’s time for the 2021 ICB Summer
Raffle. Again this year, you have a chance to win 50% of all funds raised.
In recent times, that amounted to about $900. The more who play, the bigger
the pot. So buy your tickets now and encourage your friends and families to
as well.

Tickets are $5 each, or five tickets for $20. The more tickets you buy, the
more you save. There are several ways to participate:
1. Buy your tickets online at www.icbonline.org/2021-summer-raffle. You
can also find the link to the raffle in the quick links section of the ICB
website. If you buy more than 5 tickets, any discount will be applied when
you check out with Pay Pal. Note you will be charged the Pay Pal
transaction fee.
2. Call the ICB office at 217-523-4967and let Maggie, our awesome Office
Manager know how many tickets you want. You can purchase using a credit or
debit card. If you need to leave a message, leave your number so Maggie can
call you back. Please do not leave credit card information in your message.
3. Send a request through Pay Pal to icb@icbonline.org. In the note
section, tell us how many tickets you want and be sure to include your name
and phone number so we can contact you if you win.
4. Send a check and either in the memo section or with a note enclosed, let
us know how many tickets you would like and include your name and phone
number in case you win. Make checks out to “Illinois Council of the Blind”
and send to:

PO Box 1336
Springfield, IL 62705-1336.

Tickets are on sale now until Labor Day, Monday, September 6. We’ll draw
the lucky winner on Friday, September 10. Good luck, and we thank you in
